Hurry, hurry, there they go,
Racing fast – don’t go slow.
Looking neither here or there,
Weary faces – cold, blank stare.
Racing, running to stand in line,
Never settled – no peace of mind.
Don’t know where they want to be,
Never give thought – to eternity.
Never smile, never cheer,
Don’t know why – they are here.
Never listen, always fret,
Buying things – get, get, get.
Miss the path, day by day,
Don’t know Christ – the ONLY WAY.
Where does that leave you and me,
Do we do – or let it be?
Do we share, do we say
Jesus loves you – right now, today?
If not, why?
